Before a China parcel leaves the warehouse for Saudi Arabia, obtain the recipient’s current National Address from their own SPL record. Keep the Short Address, postcode and Secondary Number as separate pieces of information. A city name, phone number or map pin alone is not a complete address record.

Start with the recipient’s address record
If you have recently moved, have several registered addresses or are receiving your first parcel in Saudi Arabia, ask the person who will receive it to confirm the exact property before you request dispatch. A saved shopping address may still refer to a previous home.
Open the official SPL National Address page and use its SPL Online link to access your own account. SPL also identifies official channels such as Tawakkalna and Absher for finding the Short Address. The recipient should sign in themselves; a buying agent does not need their password or login code.
Choose the record for the actual receiving location and copy its address components together. If there is no suitable registered record, use the registration or address-management route linked by SPL, or ask SPL to resolve the problem. Do not construct a Short Address by combining letters with a building number.
Saudi Arabia’s parcel-address requirement has been enforced since 1 January 2026, according to the official announcement of the Transport General Authority’s implementation. Resolve a missing National Address before approving export rather than treating it as an optional delivery note.
Separate the three codes before copying them
The Short Address has four letters followed by four digits. A postcode has five digits. The four-digit Secondary Number is another component; it is not your flat number. These distinctions matter when a shipping form has several boxes that all seem to ask for a number.

Add the recipient’s name, reachable Saudi telephone number and any flat, unit or floor details needed to find the door. The National Address identifies the location; it does not tell a driver which apartment belongs to you.
Turn that record into a shipping request
Use the fields offered by the selected carrier. If there is no separate Short Address field, send the full address and Short Address to the forwarding team and ask where its service needs the code. Do not silently drop it because the form has only two address lines.

That layout is a suggested way to keep the information readable, not a universal carrier specification. Where dedicated fields exist, use them. Ask the shipping team to confirm how the selected service stores the National Address and which details will appear on the label.

Fix these differences before the parcel is released
The Short Address points to the old home. Return to the recipient’s official address record and resolve the receiving location. Do not combine the new street with an old code because both appear somewhere in your saved messages.
A form rejects the code. Confirm that you copied it without losing letters or digits and that you are using the correct field. Send the exact field label and validation message to the forwarding team. Do not put the code in the postcode box or invent replacement digits to make the form accept it.
The record is correct but the apartment is missing. Add the unit or floor as supplementary information and keep the National Address intact. For example, a building can have one registered entrance while a recipient still needs to identify a specific flat. This is an illustrative situation, not a customer delivery case.
The recipient changes the location after a label was prepared. Ask whether the change can still be accepted and request a new address preview. A corrected chat message does not prove the label or electronic shipment record was updated. After dispatch, changes depend on the carrier and shipment status.
Give the shipping team a clear approval

Ask: “Please confirm that the National Address and Short Address are stored for this service, and show me the final delivery-address preview before dispatch.” Check the reply against the recipient’s current record.

An accepted address also leaves the import decision to be checked separately.
