Choose buying assistance or forwarding for your Luxembourg Taobao order, confirm the exact option and budget, and check warehouse arrivals before international dispatch.
You can buy from Taobao for delivery to Luxembourg without asking an agent to do every step. If you can place and pay for the order yourself, you may only need receiving and forwarding from China. If you need help confirming the product, placing the order or speaking with the seller, ask for purchasing assistance before paying.
Start with the checkout for the actual product and your account. Check its payment methods and delivery options. Do not assume every Taobao order can ship directly to Luxembourg—or that none can. If a workable direct option is offered, compare its scope with using a China warehouse.
Show the agent one order you actually want to buy
For a first enquiry, send the product link, a screenshot of the selected option, quantity and the Luxembourg destination. Explain what you need help with: completing the purchase, asking the seller a question, or simply receiving a parcel you will buy yourself.
A translated product name may not distinguish the options. Suppose you want two dark-blue shirts in different sizes. Keep the seller's selected size and colour wording beside your instructions, rather than sending only the main photo.

Ask what you pay now and what remains to be quoted
Before authorising purchase, separate the product price, China delivery and purchasing fee. Ask about optional photos, measurements, repacking and domestic return handling that matter to this item. Get the included work and any extra charges explained before selecting it.
Reserve money for international shipping and destination charges. A purchase estimate is not a confirmed price for a packed parcel delivered to your home. Ask what can be estimated now and what will be calculated once the goods and packing are known.
For Luxembourg, do not read “VAT paid” or “agent fee paid” as meaning every arrival charge is covered. POST's current customs information distinguishes VAT, duty, Union handling fees and POST processing. Check who will actually clear and deliver this order; another carrier can have different service charges.
Keep the China receiving address separate from Luxembourg delivery
If you order yourself, obtain the warehouse's current receiving details and customer identifier before the seller dispatches. Copy those details into the China domestic order as instructed. Your Luxembourg address belongs to the later international delivery, not the seller's China delivery field.
Keep each seller order connected to its domestic tracking number. Several items may arrive separately, and one delivered parcel does not prove the whole purchase is at the warehouse. Ask how to register or identify arrivals for your account.

Decide what the arrival photos need to show
Tell the agent what would change your decision to keep the item: a size label, model, quantity or a particular accessory. Ask whether the package can be opened and which checks are available. A photograph can show a visible mismatch; it cannot establish authenticity, hidden performance or regulatory approval.
Compare the arrival information with the order you approved. If the colour, size or accessories differ, pause that item's international dispatch and send a specific question. Confirm who contacts the seller and which return or exchange conditions still apply. Check the Taobao return and refund costs before agreeing to a solution. Keep the final decision with the Luxembourg recipient
Buying assistance does not settle whether the exact goods may use the proposed route or meet Luxembourg import requirements. Mention batteries, liquids, food, children's use and other relevant attributes before purchase, so the necessary questions can be raised while you can still change the order.
Luxembourg Customs requires an electronic declaration for goods imported from outside the EU regardless of value. Keep truthful product and purchase records and agree who answers the carrier's questions. Having an agent pay the seller does not automatically appoint it as your Luxembourg customs representative.
